Tips, tricks and rules for efficient sending of parcels. Discover the simple rules and requirements necessary for the preparation of your post.
Weights and dimensions
Parcels must not weigh more than 30 kg.
The permitted dimensions are as follows:
- maximums:
the sum of the 3 dimensions (length + width + height) must not exceed 150 cm,
the length must not exceed 100 cm.
- minimums: length: 10 cm, width: 7 cm, height: 0.5 cm.
Please note:
Parcels larger than 200 cm are not accepted.
Parcels between 150 and 200 cm or those below the minimum dimensions are subject to a manual handling fee.
Packaging
The item for posting must be packaged in a solid box, suitable for the contents and allowing ease of readability of the postage labels.
- Packaging should not include any loose pieces: avoid string, folds, handles, etc.
- Avoid loose ties and strapping: try to apply the necessary force to ensure the strapping is tight enough.
- Avoid very complicated packaging.
- Ensure the stability of the parcel by securing, padding and spreading the weight to avoid it being overturned. The parcel label must always be able to be kept face up.
- Keep to the minimum weight by using all the leeway in the first rate band and add more weight to the parcel if necessary.
- Use machine-readable tubes for appropriate items.
Please note:
Non-packaged items are not accepted.
Parcels larger than 200 cm are not accepted.
Non machine-readable tubes are subject to a manual handling fee.
Grouping parcels with string, strapping, etc. is not permitted.
Postage labels/bundles
The permitted dimensions are as follows: width: 15 cm, length: 10 cm.
- Ensure that readability is flawless: well printed, with no white lines (thermal printing), or erasure, on non-absorbent paper and without lateral printing gaps.
- Attach the label flat on one side only, on the largest side of the parcel. Do not fold it, overlap the edges, use it to secure any folds, use it as an adhesive or on top of a tie.
- Do not cover the label with sticky tape, strapping or ties.
- Do not use film or plastic pockets as they may affect readability.
- Allow one transport label per parcel.
Please note:
The specific item description for cash with order items must be readable both on the parcel and label.
For non machine-readable tubes, enter the next size up on your posting software and attach the label to the width not the length of the tube.
